Our Rubber business in Côte d’Ivoire is the 2nd largest exporter of Ivorian natural rubber and our team in Société Agro Industrielle de la Comoe (SAIC) sources naturally coagulated cup lump rubber from over 15,000 smallholder farmers. Our factory at Aniassue, which is ISO 9001 certified, is one of the most modern setups around the world, employs around 300 people and has a capacity of processing 44,000 MT of TSR annually.

We help farmers to improve yields, minimise environmental impact and improve livelihoods through tailored plans. Our “Gouassou” (gift or bonus in local language) programme is aimed at addressing specific natural rubber farmer needs during the year. Since 2017, a total of 2,439 planters have been awarded over 15,000 units of tapping equipment, 4,500+ education kits and 100+ smartphones. The programme also supports farmers by providing trucks, motorbikes, tricycles and safety boots so as to enhance their harvesting capacity.
