The Korea Tire Manufacturers Association (KOTMA) is a non-profit organisation, representing the interests of the tyre and tube makers in Korea. KOTMA promotes the mutual interests of its members by providing policy recommendations to the government for advanced systems and inter-country regulations related to safety and certification. The association also analyses statistical data and trends plus surveys the demand and supply position on a global basis.

Other activity areas which KOTMA focuses on, include:
• Conducting tyre safety campaigns to raise public awareness of tyre safety, use and management to prevent traffic
accidents
• Managing the collection and treatment of scrap tyres for efficient and environmentally friendly recycling in Korea.
• Performing tasks delegated by the government in the interest of the local industry.
