The HF Mixing Group is the unification of the companies Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH, Farrel Corporation & Pomini Rubber & Plastics srl in 2010.
Farrel Corporation has a long & rich history dates back to 1840 and epitomizes the Industrial Revolution in the United States as a foundry and equipment manufacturer for the rubber industry, Farrel has been at the forefront of developments and innovations in the processing industry. In1916, the revolutionary Banbury® Mixer was invented by Fernley H. Banbury, which is still today considered a standard mixer in the rubber industry.
In 1963, the continuous mixer (FCM™) was developed and introduced to the thermoplastic processing industry.
FARREL POMINI was established in 2011 to focus expertise in the continuous mixing equipment sector of the HF MIXING GROUP member companies.
Today, HF MIXING GROUP and FARREL POMINI are global leaders in the research, design and manufacturing of both batch & continuous mixing systems for the polymer processing industry covering an extensive range of applications.
