The AIRIA (All India Rubber Industries Association) was formed in 1945 and is an apex body of the Indian rubber industries - both tyre and non-tyre sectors - and also of the traders dealing in raw rubber, chemicals and other raw materials. The Association’s role is to protect and promote the interests, growth and development of the Indian rubber industry and to foster cooperation among individuals and units engaged in the manufacture of rubber goods with a view to advancing and safeguarding the interests of the industry. The Association has its central office in Mumbai with four regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai as well as a chapter office in Pune.
