Average price trends (2021)

NR-SGX-TSR20: 1.67 UScent/kg
Average SGX TSR20 prices were much higher in 2021, as compared to the 2020 average price of 1.32UScent/kg. NR futures prices increased substantially in 2021, supported by stronger global demand in automotive and tyre sectors.

SBR Asia: 1.85 UScent/kg
SBR Asia price ranged higher in 2021 from its 2020 average of 1.21 UScent/kg, reaching four-year high in August owning to insufficient supply of feedstock BD and solid downstream demand from passenger car tyre sector.

BD-Asia: 1.05 UScent/kg
BD Asia price in 2021 is much higher than that of 2020 on average, mainly driven by high demand from the US due to consistent production and supply chain disruption. BD prices reach four-year high in August, before supply constraints started to ease in last quarter of 2021.
